Hi from beautiful Lakeland. We have just moved here & are beginning to find out what a beautiful city it is. We hope to use this blog to keep all our family & friends overseas up to date with all that is happening.

Looks like ya'll are really getting your new year off to a great start!!
I'm sitting here looking out at our first real snow-storm since we got here!! It's really coming down out there!! I had to get out and shovel off the driveway this morning at 6:30 before I could take the kids to school!! John was, of course, out of town on business (Dallas, for two weeks!), so it falls to me to do these things...oh, well.
The kids and I will get out there and start sledding this afternoon, after they get home from school. Sure wish ya'll could be here to join us...

Thank you for sending the beautiful pictures and comments. We loved having the chance to see Lakeland, Orlando, and your family camping vacation.
It looks like you all had a great time and it was wonderful to get a chance to see your home and to see that you all have some wonderful friends.
